Kelly Clarkson: All I Ever Wanted!

Finally the Come Back of Kelly Clarkson!! with an album worthy of listening to over & over again, most of the tracks are really good, and the rest of the tracks are Awesome! and I consider this a come back because its a success after her somewhat failure with My December, & I admit that My December had more of Kelly's personality and "aura" after she insisted on doing that album "Her Way" which resulted in the clash between her & Clive Davis, the head of Sony-BMG, but then again I admit that I enjoyed "All I Ever Wanted" way more than "My December" and the songs are just hmm, commercial & current? like stuff that would appeal to a wide base of fans not just a select few, and imo that's a smart move by Kelly because its always a critical point in an artist's career after a "not so successful" project and imo she passed the test successfuly, so Welcome back Kelly.

My only downside in this album is, it's So dark, like she needs to brighten up a little bit and include songs with the spirit that songs like Breakaway and Miss Independant had, other than that, Its good to go.

The Highlights of the album imo are:
- My Life Would Suck Without You (we already knew that!)
- Cry
- Don't Let Me Stop You
- Save You
- Impossible (great, great....great)

American Idol 11/3/2009 Results Show!

Jasmin Murray is out THANK GOD, but, Jorge is out with her!!?? what?? how come exactly? I mean yea I'm glad that between him and Anoop, Anoop got to stay but, still Jorge is good, really good actually and I wonder what happened there, I hoped that Megan Joy would be out instead of him to be honest or at least Alexis Grace, but what can we do now except wish him luck in his future career :( and Anoop really has to get it together he can't continue choosing those fun "light" songs that are just no good really and turn out in the end as a lame karaoke, Personality alone won't carry you through the whole competition!! and about the guest appearances, In short words, Kelly Rocked and Kanye Sucked!

Angels & Demons!

The Sequel to the Da Vinci Code!! Can't wait to watch that already! actually it's supposed to be a Prequel since the novel  (which the movie is based on) takes place before the Da Vinci Code, it's supposed to be released 15th of May, Tom Hanks reprises his role as Robert Langdon which is enough to make it awesome already, Same Novelist, Same Director, Same Producer, Same Screenwriter as well so I bet it's gonna be great!!

American Idol 10/3/2009 The Finals are here!!

Finally the show comes to the big stage! now the real show starts , the cream of the crop performing, 100,000 auditioners shaked up to form those top 13! and here are my thoughts about the episode!

The show started with lil' rounds which i thought was weird cause they usually save the best to the last spots but then it was obvious they needed a strong start to the show, and she did deliver that strong start with a Solid performance of The Way You Make Me Feel,is she gonna be safe in the results show? Most definitely she will

Then it was Scott's turn singing Keep the Faith, good performance, not the best of his abilities, some of the high notes were not that good and kinda annoying but in general it wasn't that bad ( not that good tho), and it would be really cool if he actually mean't to sing that song for what it's lyrics represent, is he gonna be safe in the results show? I think once again his condition will draw a lot of voters to his side so yes i think he will

And again bringing someone that good to the early spots, Danny singing P.Y.T and man does he have a strong voice and in addition to that is somewhat a good performer, and I think the girls are in love with him too so, is he gonna be safe in the results show? yes definitely

Now its the Rigger's turn (my work buddy) Michael Sarver, and I must say I was disapointed with his performance the last round and didn't really understand why did he get thru directly, but he really proved himself in this round and showed everyone that he really can sing and does have a great "pure" voice, is he gonna be safe in the results show? Yes I think he will, If he can get through with last round's performance when only 3 spots out of 12 could be filled, then he's definitely going through with this round's performance when there are 11 spots out of 13 to fill.

and then it's Jasmine Murray's Turn, I really dislike her I don't know why and I don't think she has any kind of stage "chemistry" and is just really boring, the judges were kinda impressed with her but I honestly couldn't wait for her peroformance to end already, is she gonna be safe in the results show? I hope not :s

If 2 days ago someone said to me, "Kris Allen", then probably my reaction would have been, "Kris Allen who??" but my opinion definitely changed by his performance here and specially that I have a thing for singers who can play an instrument as well, He's not the most distinguished singer though and he's like many of the rest but atleast he proved why he deserves a spot in the top 13, and I agree with simon that he "should have brought the wife a lil bit later in the show" :D cause it seems like 80% of his voters are "single" ladies with the " oh he' so cute" looks on their faces, well, is he gonna be safe in the results show? I think he will based on his "good" performance and his likability

And then its Allison's turn, and honestly I was kinda waiting for her performance (I got blown away by her version of Heart's Alone, yea it was that good), and actually she's one of the singers in the competition that you just know that early on the show where is she going and what kind of songs that she is able to sing well, really well!! and well my expectations were met and I join the judges in not believing that she is 16! her voice is just way "Grown up" and "Mature" to come out of a 16 years old girl, my only complaint about her is that she doesn't seem to handle herself well if she's not singing and kinda "boring" off stage, fix that and she'll get along way, is she gonna be safe in the results show? yes definitely, she is memorable

Anoop, I'm a big fan of his but I wonder why is he that stupid, can't he just for once sing a song that would show his voice capabilities? much like he did in his very first audition? instead of singing up beat "easy" songs like Beat It and My Perogative that doesn't really have a "range" what so ever? if you ask me he can't depend on his likability and stage personality any longer if he wants to go thru! so, is he gonna be safe in the results show? I think so but by a very tight difference and only his personality would get him by.

Jorge Nunez, the "emotional" Jorge Nunez, good singer, the girls love his emotionality and his spanish accent, the song he sang "Never Can Say Goodbye" definitely didn't suit him but atleast he tried to get the best of it, I mean Michael Jackson' style is not Jorge's Style at all and well for a singer like him, it's definitely hard to pick a Micahel Jackson song that would be suitable for your voice, just like he said, "I was not gonna sing Bad by Michael Jackosn!!", well, is he gonna be safe in the results show? I think so again because of the lady voters

Megan Joy, hmm I'm kinda on the verge here, I can't figure out if she's "current" as the judges say, or is she no good at all, her style is kinda weird and her stage presence is really akward (what's up with those little waist dance moves that she does!!?) and I really really really hate her arm tattoo!! and as for the song, I would understand if some people would like it, but I personally didn't "swallow" her performance and it wouldn't convince me to pick up the phone and vote for her, but is she gonna be safe in the results show? I have no clue but I kinda hope that she goes with Jasmine

Now it's Adam Lambert's Turn, and again one of the performances that I was looking up to, he chose the right song for his vocal capabilities and he was Definitely the best of the night, his version of Black and White just feels like an original Adam Lambert song and I'm seriously surprised how he could be in Hollywood for 5 years without being an achieved artist already, and as Paula said, He's definitely going to be there in the final rounds, if not THE final round, is he gonna be safe in the results show? HELL YEA!!

and then Matt Giraud came, and that dude is really growing on me, I mean at first I didn't even notice him and his performance in the top 36 first round was absolutely hideous, but then he took the judges advice and started sticking to those bluesy songs and they are absolutely right, I mean his voice is just so pure and smooth and "capturing", and altho I think it was kinda "unfair" to perfrom right after Adam, but he definitely held his own out there and delivered a great performance with a perfect song choice, so, is he gonna be safe in the results show? I think and hope yes, his voice makes me feel good!

and then the final performance of the night, Alexis Grace, I dislike her, and I don't get it why is there a hype around her, she is just random, like the next singer you would listen to in a fancy restaurant, but that's about it, altho her song was interesting but I honestly think she over did it, but is she gonna be safe in the results show? hmm Maybe? I can't figure out but I kinda hope not, we'll see.

Twilight the movie :S !

I watched Twilight for the first time yesterday on dvd, and I heard from so many people how bad it was but I kinda hoped that it would turn out otherwise, but sadly, it didn't, it's that bad, which is unfortunate really because I think the novels do have a great potential of making great movies, but it was no good really, the acting was bad, the direction was bad, and don't even get me started on the make up & the jumps!!! I mean whats up with those jumps really its not Tom & Jerry for god's sake, & It seems like the director completely forgot about common sense when the "vampires" started to jump around, and I honestly don't think making an extraordinary jump yet still a believable one, is that hard with the CGI and the graphics technologies available nowadays, so I seriously wonder what happened there!

Kristen Stewart was somewhat good in her role and she's generally believable as Bella Swan the lonely girl who falls in love with a secret vampire but MAN Robert Pattinson was SO bad in his role as Edward Cullen, seriously what was that, he is just trying so hard and in general the role doesn't suit him in anyway (which I blame the director for) and in general was one of the worst scenarios of how the performance of the lead role in this movie would go, simply horrible

The only good thing this movie brought to our world is the introduction of it's soundtrack Decode by Paramore, which is really a good song and I admit it is partly why I wanted to watch the movie in the first place 'cause I was kinda addicted to it sometime ago, but even the song is not featured in the movie itself but rather it is played in the very end of the ending credits so even the last hope for this movie in leaving the viewer with any good memories is effectively ruined.

overall I would give the movie a maximum 4/10 and imo this is very generous to what this movie has to offer.

Rihanna & Chris Brown tie the knot!?

Just read on Yahoo! that rumors say they got engaged!! then what was the I'll-beat-her-up-and-bite-her-ear all about then? weird and well I don't understand how is she still with him in the first place let alone getting engaged!! I mean cmon have you seen her TMZ pics?? she was disfigured to say the least and well I really like chris brown and think he's talented but that was just unacceptable, well let's hope It's just a "Crazy Moment" that "won't happen again!"

American Idol 5/3/2009 The Wild Card Show!

OMG THAT WAS GREAT!!! the performances were really great and for the first time ever it's a TOP 13!! but the best news is that ANOOP IS IN!!! and it's kinda funny how they always manage to make it feel like he is not then in the end somehow turns out that he got thru, I mean what plz don't kill me like that every damn episode!! and it's kinda funny how he always handles it, the look on his face is just hilarious and just has a ":O" face every time he gets to know his in :D and well Matt Giraud did a great job imo I mean his voice was really smooth and i did enjoy his version of "who's lovin' you" and yea he definitely deserves that spot, but on the other hand, Jasmine Murray ?? cmon she sucks and is just not special in any sort of way, like really I think they just got her in because they need to balance out the male\female contestants but if it wasn't for that, then she'd already be watching next week's episodes in her bedroom, and as much as I hate to say this, but imo Tatiana deserved a spot, she really can sing but probably should have chosen another song I mean seriously who is dumb enough to sing three times, 2 of them on live shows, a song that could only be sang in just 1 way !? well anyway other than that, great show and great performances and looking forward to what's next and GO ANOOP!

American Idol 4/3/2009 ANOOP REVIVED!! the wild card show spots

Ok so the judges decided who is gonna perform in the wild card show and ANOOP DESAI IS BACK YEA BABY, WOW that was awesome to have him back he is definitely one of the best with such a pure voice and it was a huge shock & disappointment for me when he didn't make it directly to the top 12, Simon said it, "this was actually one of the easiest decisions, always liked this person, original, likable, talented" yea that pretty much sums it up, and once again saved the best to the last spot (Which killed me really I mean I was sure he's gonna make it thru to the wild card show at least but then it was already the last spot and it was kinda weird then), welcome back Anoop, Kill them tonight with your voice!!

Anoop is joined by Ricky Braddy, Megan Joy, Tatiana Del Toro (OMG not again!!), Matt Giraud, Jesse Langseth, Jasmine Murray (what!? why!!?) & Von Smith

One's gotta ask, why are people like Von Smith (boring!!) and Jasmine Murray given a second chance while singers like Ju'not & Kristen McNamara (really strong voice, her only fault is how she dresses up!!?) are not given any?

anyway, I hope the singers who would make it to the top 12 would be

American Idol 3/3/2009

Ok here are my thoughts about American Idol's episode that went on air 3/3/2009

Imo this was the best of the 3 groups, the majority of the performers got good commentary from the judges and even the ones who got bad comments weren't actually that bad.

It was kinda unfair for this group to compete against Scott MacIntyre [ the almost blind guy :( ] because not only does he have a great voice, but his condition makes the viewers (voters) more compassionate to him and maybe he will pass by to the next round  just by that "advantage", that doesn't mean he is not a great vocalist because he is definitely but it would be a bit unfair to some of the other contestants in this specific group coz alot of them deserves a spot in the top 12 really (at least one of the ones who are going to go home deserves Alexis Grace's spot for example, I don't get it why is she in there :S)

and plz what's up with that Nathaniel Marshall "guy", I can't stand him when "he" talks or moves or whatever "he" does other than singing ( I admit he has an almost good voice) but "he" really needs to man up a lil bit !! not just for the show but for the rest of his life if "he" wants it to be a good one!! I hope he won't go thru to the next round I just can't stand "him".

So about Jorge Nunez, Man does he have a strong voice, and I really don't get it why are they complaining about his accent?? as Simon said earlier in the show "that's why we came to Puerto Rico" otherwise they could have just gone to Conneticut or something, seriously what's up with that, and he's one of the performers that i think are unfairly disadvantaged giving the "guaranteed" spot to his fellow singer Scott, I hope he goes thru to the next round tho.

And Ju'not Joyner, I really liked what he did to Plain White T's Hey there Delilah, slowing it down like that really paid off imo, altho I kinda got a bit disappointed when i found out that he had already performed it back in Hollywood week, gives the feeling that he's not capable of singing another song the way he did with this one, anyway I hope he gets another chance to show us what he's capable of.

ok it's Lil' Rounds turn, what a great name :D it already feels like a stage name for a female rap artist, but not just any rap artisit, as Randy said "I think you're one of the best we've found this season" hands down, she has a GREAT voice, seems to be very in control and just knows what she's doing out there, It's obvious tho that they keep the best singer to the last spot, think about it, first group round, last spot goes to Danny, second round it goes to Adam Lambert, third round to lil rounds (:D), well anyway my expectations to people going thru are:

1. Lil' Rounds

2. Scott MacIntyre

3. Jorge Nunez

People I hope would get a spot in the top 12 are:

Ju'not Joyner - Kristen McNamara (not really fond of her but she has a Strong voice and would like to see what she has to offer) -Alex Wagner-Trugman (He was kinda funny :D)

Some of the other contestants were good as well but weren't memorable at all, thus imo don't deserve a second chance

5 Things I definitely wanna do someday somehow!

Ok maybe I have the courage talkin about doin' this or that, all relaxed sittin at home listening to Jamie Foxx Blamin' It On The Alcohol, with the most intense action I've experienced in the last few days being watching Tom Cruise almost assassinating Hitler & taking over 1944's Germany (Man imagine if that happened for real!!), But let's assume for a moment that I do have the guts for it, & that I'm in a place in life where I could just "Do Things", then probably those would make it to the top of my To-Do-List

5. Bungee jump from the highest point in town

& I'm not talking about those lame 30 meters bungee jump programs made for tourists in Malaysia, no I'm talkin more about something like this

LOOK AT THE FRICKIN' HEIGHT!!!! Man that would be cool, I bet the fall would take him like 20 minutes or something (I hope not tho, would be kinda boring), & yes, I admit that i may end up lookin' like this poor guy over here

4. Watching the Aurora over the arctic

The Aurora is really (& by that I mean inde scribably) beautiful, & to witness that in reality (not on some boring google pictures) would just be amazing & would fill me up with such a feeling of awe, I mean check out those pics & you should get me here

3. Climbing Mount Everest

Yea like a list of the things I wanna do the most could possibly not include being at the Absolute Top of the World, The mountain is approximately 8850 meters high, in other words it's 300 times taller than that 10 story building everyone is afraid to look off its roof

2. Skydiving!

Now that's definitely fun, you can do anything while Flying, from a group hug & a dance with your lady friend, to standing 20 in a VERTICAL row & watching sunset, all that while literally Flying (ok ok skydiving gimme a break), I even heard some people had sex while skydiving, I personally don't understand how that would go, but point is go nuts with it there are absolutely no limits here

1. Travelling to space

& the winner is... yes you're right it's going to space, who can resist that exactly!? being outside our physical "making sense" boundaries and being higher than all that? I mean, who can resist watching the Earth, the Sun & Stars from space, It's just magical & imo it kinda gives the feeling of "wow our problems are really that small yet we can't stop complaining !?" but at the same time fills you with such a feeling of self appreciation being a part of that beauty somehow, Plus, we can get our freaks on with the whole "no gravity" thingy :D, So yes travelling to space is definitely the undisputed champion of my things I'd definitely wanna do someday somehow.
